When you talk to people in Vancouver about Lions Bay you get a pretty standard response:

    1. Wow, that is really far

    2. Wow, that is really expensive

    3. Wow, great views

It's these assumptions and the lack of knowledge that make Lions Bay a perfect investment and place to live. When buying property, leave as little to chance as possible. Ask a lot of questions, get as much information as possible, and try to find out info that others haven't found out yet. An example of this is the impact in driving time due to the new Sea to Sky Highway. Look for an advantage!

    1. Distance

11 km North of Horseshoe Bay

12 minutes to Caulfield (closest shopping)

25 minutes to Downtown Vancouver (no traffic)

    30 minutes to Squamish

These are all highway driving distances. It takes less time to get downtown than Burnaby, New West, Richmond, etc.

    2. Really Expensive

There are some incredible homes in Lions Bay and, according to www.lionsbay.ca,  the average property assessment is $1,067,000 (2009 values).

    3. Great Views

Check out the photos we put together to give you a taste of the community and environment. Some cheesy dialogue and some cheesy music. It's my first attempt at this. I promise the house will be better than the quality of this blog post!
